The film is about a fresh filmmaker who reunites his school friends after being apart for 15 years to prove that the UFO he saw 15 years ago was real. Together, the four friends embark on a beautiful and exciting road trip journey across Malaysia to search for the truth and turn it into a film. However, along the journey, they encounter something unexpected.

When Nova (15) brings her little sister Ivy to soccer practice with her mother Maria, Ivy’s new trainer Nadia tells them that Ivy cannot train anymore until her membership fee has been paid. The situation turns into a conflict when angry Maria takes Ivy from the field. When Nadia puts a comforting hand on Nova’s shoulder, Nova gets overwhelmed with a feeling she has never had before.

Nova is a feature film about love, search and a supernova. When a stars explodes in the sky and its radiation begins to slowly kill every living thing on earth, our characters will go looking for each other in a desperate last act of love and self-understanding.
